Don't Make Me Come Down There - God

That's what a billboard said that I saw on my way back home from a wrestling meet last week. As I thought about it I was totally embarrassed that some good willing Christian bought the space and this is what message they chose to share with all passer byers. What does this say about the church here in America. Is our God like a parent who is sick and tired of our antics and is ready to come down here and give us a good talking to? Is he going to come down from Heaven and punish us? Put us in time out? Use the rod?

I honestly am flabbergasted.
