Soup Kitchen Sunday

Our church takes a group of mostly teenagers downtown Atlanta the first Sunday of each month to serve food and coffee at a church to the homeless. I've gone from time to time in the past but this year I have set a goal to go every time our church does this. I want to make sure that when I talk to my kids in class about serving others, I know what it feels like and I've done something tangible to share with them. I hate empty words. I want to lead them by example because that's the only way it will work.
